Bill Coulter
Meteorologist, CP24 Breakfast
Bill Coulter joined CP24 in 2011, bringing his expertise as a meteorologist and his passion for travel, lifestyle and entertainment reporting to the CP24 Breakfast team. He helps our viewers navigate their days delivering the weather on CP24 Breakfast as well as taking part in the lifestyle, entertainment and community events segments on CP24 Breakfast which only highlights Bill’s love for Toronto and the GTHA as a whole. A graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) in radio and television arts, Bill received high honours and the George Schenck Graduate Scholarship for excellence in script writing. Bill also received high honours at the University of Mississippi State, where he graduated with a certificate in broadcast meteorology. He is also endorsed by the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (CMOS). Prior to joining CP24, Bill hosted two seasons of “Structures”, an award-winning program about the history and architecture of Toronto. He also wrote scripts for the popular children’s series, “Ants in Your Pants” on Treehouse TV and while working on “Rushes,” interviewing celebrities on the TIFF red carpet. Bill is also technically proficient, moving from technical director to on-air presenter, he spent eight years at Pelmorex and The Weather Network. He then moved to Toronto 1, as weather presenter and co-host for “Toronto Tonight.” Bill spent eight years with Global Toronto as a meteorologist and reporter, where he produced and hosted weather, travel and lifestyle segments. Bill is also a trained singer and actor, having appeared on stage and in film, including principle roles in "Downsizing" and "Total Recall," and has been a member of ACTRA since 2011. Bill credits his love for Earth and atmospheric science to the extreme weather he experienced while growing up in Montreal. Bill is an avid traveller with a passion for urban exploration and backcountry camping. He loves connecting with people, sharing his experiences and inspiring audiences to get out of their comfort zone and live life to the fullest. He speaks English and some French.
